A pre-race sample was taken from Good Luck Mark upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Jane's Intention was quick to begin. It's A Plane and Jaimandy Hatty collided approaching the first turn. Liebig Street and Good Luck Mark collided approaching the first turn, checking Liebig Street. It's A Plane and Jaimandy Hatty collided on the first turn, checking It's A Plane. Ok Jake and Jane's Intention collided on the third turn, checking Jane's Intention. Liebig Street, Aston Harvey and Jaimandy Hatty collided approaching the fifth turn, checking Aston Harvey. Ok Jake and Good Luck Mark collided approaching the fifth turn, severely checking Ok Jake, which fell as a result.
