Big Lebowski and Bolt Power were slow to begin. Jan's Star and Brae's Bullet collided soon after the start, checking Brae's Bullet. Jan's Star and Classy Diva collided on the first turn, checking Classy Diva. Big Lebowski contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Jan's Star, Misty Warrior and Classy Diva collided approaching the home turn, checking Jan's Star and Classy Diva. Bolt Power and Cawbourne Mav collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.
