Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Ming Men Shen.
James Beat Fed checked off Ming Men Shen on the first turn, checking Destroy I Said. Apatchy Racer checked off Snow Osti on the first turn. Snow Osti and Scot's Dunker collided on the first turn. James Beat Fed, Destroy I said and Apatchy Racer collided approaching the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. James Beat Fed galloped on the heels of Apatchy Racer on the home turn, checking James Beat Fed and Destroy I Said, and severely checking Apatchy Racer, which pulled up as a result. Snow Osti and Scot's Dunker collided on the home turn, checking Snow Osti, Scot's Dunker and Ming Men Shen.
Apatchy Racer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle, left quadriceps and left pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr. C. Kiernan, trainer of Apatchy Racer, advised Stewards that it was his intention to retire the greyhound from racing.
