Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter Mr B.Groom did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Daintree Rose and Kraken Lanina were slow to begin. Mega Moo checked off Klondike Gold soon after the start. Evil Pedro checked off Golden Aura on the first turn. Mega Moo galloped on the heels of Better Way approaching the home turn. Golden Aura marred Klondike Gold approaching the winning post checking Good Golly Wally.
Golden Aura was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr B. Seaton, owner of Golden Aura. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Golden Aura with marring. Mr Seaton pleaded guilty to the charge, Golden Aura was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at Shepparton Track and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
