Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Our Aqua Blue.
Antoine and Wot Price Slick were slow to begin. Five Lights, Sheza Dragon and Tiger Girl collided soon after the start severely checking Sheza Dragon. Pee Kay Seeds, Our Aqua Blue and Our Echo Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Our Aqua Blue, Pee Kay Seeds and Wot Price Slick. Five Lights galloped on Pee Kay Seeds approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Our Aqua Blue and Our Echo Rose collided several times approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Our Aqua Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot, no stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. E. Prazza, the representative of Our Aqua Blue regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn, after viewing all available video footage Stewards took no further action.
