Southwood Trump was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, and a fracture to the right front toe, a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 3 minutes due to a delay with kennel/handling procedures. A pre race sample was taken from Corleone King.

Gotta Be You stumbled at box rise and lost ground. Bella Express and Mepunga Dasha collided approaching the first turn. Tiggerlong Boom and Rellim Diesel collided on the home turn. Tear Away Duke faltered in the home straight.

Big End was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a ruptured achilles tendon, and was humanely euthanased.

Tear Away Duke was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock, and was humanely euthanased.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Taylor, the trainer of Talanjee Stiff regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Talanjee Stiff last raced on 19th February 2017. Mr. Taylor stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hock injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Talanjee Stiff trialled over the 390m from box four, weight 30.8kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.55, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.75 lengths. Talanjee Stiff was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Taylor, the trainer of Kinloch Girl regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Kinloch Girl last raced on 12th January 2017. Mr. Taylor stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right triangle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Kinloch Girl trialled over the 390m from box one, weight 25.4kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.55, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 14.25 lengths. Kinloch Girl was Not Cleared.
