Lucky Brew and Slingshot Sambo collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Megan checked off Lektra Jenny approaching the first turn. Lucky Brew, Slingshot Sambo and Prince Cheviot collided on the first turn, checking Prince Cheviot and Zipping Megan, and severely checking Hillbilly Bubba which stumbled, causing Traveller's Joy to fall. Lucky Brew and Lektra Jenny collided on the home turn. More Moment and Lucky Brew collided entering the home straight. Lucky Brew and Lektra Jenny collided approaching the winning post.
Traveller's Joy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
