Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Whitford, the trainer of Trigger Lee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Trigger Lee last raced on 14th July 2017. Mr. Whitford stated that the greyhound was return from a spell and was new to his kennels. Mr. Whitford also declared a new weight of 30.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Trigger Lee last raced at 31.2kg.
Mr. D. Carswell, trainer of Macka's Victorem declared a new weight of 33.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Macka's Victorem last raced at 31.5kg.
Amazon Warrior and Twilight Liason were quick to begin.
Trigger Lee and Avatar Rebel collided soon after the start. Hilux and With A Whisper collided soon after the start. Avatar Rebel and Rubba Wilson collided on the home turn. Hilux and Macka's Victorem collided on the home turn.
