A pre-race sample was taken from Peter's Pride.
Galaxy Sprite was quick to begin. Urban Street, Soda Storm, Rock Me Baby and Peter's Pride collided soon after the start checking Rock Me Baby. Peter's Pride and Golden Hand collided on the first turn. Macalister Sam faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Soda Storm was checked off Peter's Pride on the home turn.
Rock Me Baby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing on the right hind foot and superficial wounds to the left hind foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Uban Street was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 28 day stand down peirod was imposed.
Macalister Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Satisfactory trial results:-
Billy Clover trialled over 315 metres from box 1, weight 30.4kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.39 secs, the greyhound won by a margin of 4 lengths. Billy Clover was cleared.
