Ring The Bell was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right foreleg shin soreness, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr G O'Keefe, trainer of the greyhound Ring The Bell which performed below market expectations. Mr O'Keefe stated could offer no real explanation however highlighted that in his opinion Ring The Bell has a tendancy to hit a flat spot during the run which may have had some bearing this evening.  

Allen Yani and Dyna Chill collided soon after the start checking Allen Yani. Lady Charlotte crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Destini Mermaid and Alpha Aion. Oshkosh Wayne and Allen Yani collided on the first turn checking Allen Yani and Alpha Aion. Lady Charlotte and Dyna Chill collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Oshkosh Wayne checked off Allen Yani on the second turn. Destini Mermaid checked off Our Mate Wilson on the second turn. Dyna Chill and Lady Charlotte collided approaching the third turn checking Lady Charlotte. Allen Yani and Lady Charlotte collided in the back straight checking Allen Yani. Allen Yani and Our Mate Wilson collided approaching the fourth turn and approaching the home turn. Allen Yani and Our Mate Wilson collided approaching the winning post.

Always About Me and Out Of Range were slow to begin. Chardy and Carla Zeus collided soon after the start checking Carla Zeus. Calabasas and Canya Sassy collided approaching the first turn. Canya Sassy, Chardy and Calabasas collided approaching the first turn checking Calabasas. Calabasas and Carla Zeus collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Dyna Wazza and Out Of Range collided approaching the second turn. Little Toby and Out Of Range collided entering the back straight. Canya Sassy checked off Out Of Range in the back straight. Chardy and Little Toby collided on the third turn. Little Toby galloped on the heels of Chardy approaching the home turn severly checking both greyhounds. Always About Me checked off Canya Sassy approaching the home turn. Calabasas and Little Toby sollided several times in the home straight.

Eddie Eagle and Cheese Ya Later collided soon after the start checking Eddie Eagle. Loch Mac, Dewana Special and West On Xandi collided soon after the start. Eddie Eagle contacted the running rail on the first turn. Loch Mac checked off West On Xandi approaching the second turn. Blue Lioness, Quick Step, Alcyone and West On Xandi collided on the second turn severely checking Blue Lioness, Eddie Eagle, Quick Step, Dewana Special and severely checking Alcyone which fell as a result. Eddie Eagle and Blue Lioness collided approaching the second turn checking Blue Lioness. West On Xandi and Quick Step collided in the home straight checking Quick Step.

Stewards conducted an inspection of the track where the fall occured and was passed fit for racing.

Tronic Flash was slow to begin. Miss Innings, Poor Old Frank and Unite Bale collided soon after the start. Unite Bale, Poor Old Frank, Miss Innings, River Crossing and Oshkosh Erny Vee collided approaching the first turn. Miss Innings and Unite Bale collided on the first turn checking Miss Innings. Miss Innings and Verne Allen collided on the first turn checking Verne Allen and Tronic Flash. Immen Bale checked off Oshkosh Erny Vee approaching the second turn. Immen Bale and Oshkosh Erny Vee collided approaching the third turn checking Oshkosh Erny Vee.

Lightning Frank galloped on the heels of Zara's Entity on the home turn checking Lightning Frank. Zara's Entity checked off Aqua Cheetah approaching the winning post.

Dyna Naitch and One Plus Two collided on the first turn and entering the front straight checking One Plus Two. Oronsay and My Name's Red collided entering the front straight checking My Name's Red. Dyna Naitch and Limburg Dan collided approaching the second turn and on the second turn. Dyna Naitch and Limburg Dan collided on the third turn checking Limburg Dan. Dyna Naitch, Limburg Dan and Nangar Range collided entering the back straight severely checking Limburg Dan and Oronsay. Nangar Range and Limburg Dan raced wide in the home straight.
