Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr M Galea, the kennel representative for Hide The Wallet, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hide The Wallet last raced on 20 June 2017. Mr Galea stated that Hide The Wallet was resuming from a left stopper bone injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Hide The Wallet.
Low Flying Plane, Horey's Girl and Another Value collided soon after the start. Kim Kadash faltered soon after the start and tailed off. Slipaway Whitey and Hugh Made Who collided from the 200m mark to the 100m mark.
Kim Kadash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left gracilis (back) and biceps femoris (thigh) muscles. A 28-day stand down period was imposed.
