Mahjong Prince was quick to begin.
Little Nova and Badelaide Road were slow to begin.
Raven Joe galloped on the heels of Lisscoyle Lass approaching the first turn severely checking Wok Djay which raced wide as a result and causing Raven Joe to fall. Badelaide Road checked off Mahjong Prince on the home turn. Mahjong Prince lost ground on the home. Badelaide Road and Mahjong Prince collided in the home straight checking Mahjong Prince.
Raven Joe was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Mahjong Prince was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
