Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs C. Haigh, the trainer of News Print regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. News Print last raced on 2nd June 2017. Mrs Haigh stated that the greyhound was returning after a change in kennels.
Leggian Blonde and Checker Plate were quick to begin. Mercy Percy were slow to begin.
Pacific Action and News Print collided soon after the start. Tail Inspector, Our Rocket and Checker Plate collided soon after the start. Pacific Action checked off Leggian Blonde on the first turn checking Pacific Action and severely checking Our Rocket. Pacific Action and Leggian Blonde collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
