Steward's Report
Mr. G. Condon the trainer of Lady Spur declared a new weight of 28.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lady Spur last raced at 27.6kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dam Sleek.
She Is Creative was quick to begin. Sargent and Creative Moves collided approaching the first turn. Apila Moola and Dam Sleek collided approaching the first turn checking Apila Moola. Sargent and Come To Play collided on the first turn, Sargent lost ground as a result. Apila Moola brushed the running rail on the first turn. Come To Play brushed the running rail entering the home straight.
Sargent was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards issued a warning to Ms. S. Abela the trainer of Sargent regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn.
