Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Flywheel Magic and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5:27pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. S. Bye was fined the sum of $100.
Apollo's Twin, Goorawin and Lakeview Miss were quick to begin. Cataleya was slow to begin. Apollo's Twin, Goorawin and Lakeview Miss collided on the first turn checking Goorawin. Cataleya was checked off Goorawin entering the back straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. W. McMahon, the trainer of Daffy Duck regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Daffy Duck last raced on 6 February 2017 and is returning to racing following a toe injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Daffy Duck trialled over the 315m from box 8, weight,34.2kg the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.55 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.5 lengths. Daffy Duck was cleared.
