Steward's Report
Tarika Tara was quick to begin. Miss Springer and Black Shirley were very slow to begin (4 lengths). Inyati Hawk, Dr. Shreds and Tarika Tara collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Shreds and Tarika Tara. Misty's Boy and Challis Annie collided appoaching the first turn checking Challis Annie. Dr. Shreds was checked off Black Shirley on the first turn causing Dr. Shreds to race wide severely checking Dr. Shreds and Challis Annie. Inyati Hawk faltered approaching the home turn. Inyati Hawk and Misty's Boy collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Misty's Boy, both greyhounds raced wide.
Inyati Hawk was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left hock, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
