Scarecrow Tiger was slow to begin.
Black Paws, Arden Emgrand, Burst Through and Perfect Rider collided soon after the start, checking Burst Through which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Petite Senorita and Black Paws collided approaching the first turn. Arden Emgrand and Perfect Rider collided approaching the first turn. Petite Senorita and Scarecrow Tiger collided on the first turn, severely checking Petite Senorita which lost ground as a result. Petite Senorita and Perfect Rider collided approaching the home turn, checking Petite Senorita. Petite Senorita and Burst Through collided entering the home straight. Arden Emgrand and Rosette collided in the home straight and approaching the winning post.
Petite Senorita was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right flexor tendon. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
Burst Through was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
MEETING COMMENTS
Satisfactory Trial Results - Winlock Macy trialled over the 450m from box one, weight 27.9kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.76, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.75L. Winlock Macy was cleared.
