Steward's Report
Shackleton and Magic Maldini were slow to begin. Bird Special, Banjo Barbie and Reatily Shintaro collided soon after the start checking Bird Special and Reatily Shintaro. Night Prancer raced wide and became unbalanced approaching the second turn causing the greyhound to lose ground. Night Prancer raced wide in the back straight. Reatily Shintaro and Shackleton collided on the home turn.
Night Prancer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
A sample was taken from Bird Special - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Harris the representative of Night Prancer regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn. Evidence was taken from the Steward situated at the 315 metre boxes, where it was reported that the greyhound lost its footing after racing wide. After viewing all available video footage Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Harris regarding the greyhound's racing manners.
