Charity Wish and Aeroplane Hank collided soon after the start. Dyna Alistair and Muzzle Welsh collided on the first turn. Kreuzberg and Dyna Alistair collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Kreuzberg and Allen Incent collided on the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds; Kreuzberg fell as a result.
Allen Incent was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
Kreuzberg was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing on the front hind foot, general lacerations and an injury to the lumbo-sacral area. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
