Tansy Girl was quick to begin.  Papa Duncs and It's Fresh were slow to begin.  Fantasy Blaze and Stealthy Mover collided soon after the start checking Papa Duncs.  Stealthy Mover, Papa Duncs and Fantasy Blaze collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds, Papa Duncs brushed the running rail as a result.  Fantasy Blaze contacted the running rail approaching the first turn checking Papa Duncs.  Tansy Girl and Sienna's Gift collided on the first turn causing Speedway Lass to race wide.  Sienna's Gift eased on the home turn severely checking Tansy Girl.  Stealthy Mover and It's Fresh collided several times from entering the home straight to the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Papa Duncs was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hock, no stand down period was imposed.

Fantasy Blaze was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hock and right hind toe, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. Wood the representative for Sienna's Gift regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Sienna's Gift was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left wrist, no stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Sienna's Gift with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mrs. Wood pleaded not guilty to the charge, Sienna's Gift was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Knuckle Biter was slow to begin.  Fernando's Dream and Dubai Prince collided soon after the start.  Scott A Secret and Beers On Us collided soon after the start.  Fernando's Dream was checked off Dubai Prince entering the back straight.  Dubai Prince and Scott A Secret collided in the back straight and again approaching the second turn checking Scott A Secret.

Misty's Boy was a late scratching at 2.47pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Ms. P. Calafiore was fined the sum of $100.

Wanneroo, Toffee Lady and Cosa Bona were slow to begin.  Wanneroo, Stir Fry Shrimp and Toffee Lady collided soon after the start.  Cosa Bona and Dr. Sparkles collided on the first turn.  Wanneroo galloped on Little Freck entering the back straight.  Tucky's Daughter lost ground in the back straight.  Little Freck and Stir Fry Shirmp collided on the third turn checking Stir Fry Shrimp.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Tuck the trainer of Tucky's Daughter via phone after he left the track without Stewards permission.  Stewards directed Mr. Tuck to present Tucky's Daughter for a vet check at the Warragul meeting tomorrow night and to explain his reasons for leaving the track without having his greyhound vetted.

Stewards deemed the performance of Tucky's Daughter unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Tucky's Daughter must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr Tuck presented Tucky's Daughter for a vet check at Warragul on 12/12/17.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right and left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Tuck who explained he was disappointed with the greyhound's performance and was tired after a long day at work and wanted to get home.  Stewards issued Mr Tuck with a severe reprimand pursuant to GAR 86 (o).

Sunset Kay was slow to begin.  Izgrev, Dr. Zeeva and Bold Crusade collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Zeeva and Bold Crusade.  Izgrev and Bold Crusade collided on the first turn severely checking Bold Crusade which stumbled and lost ground.  Buzz Nation was checked off Paisley on the first turn.  Buzz Nation and Sunset Kay collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds, checking Izgrev.  Izgrev and Buzz Nation collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Izgrev and Bold Crusade collided in the home straight.

Buzz Nation was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hock and right hind toe, no stand down period was imposed.

Bold Crusade was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right stopper strain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Slick Assassian, Motown Mac and Big Skeeta collided soon after the start checking Motown Mac.  Motown Mac was checked off Big Skeeta approaching the first turn checking Motown Mac.  Simply Good was checked off Give Away King approaching the first turn.  Simply Good and Motown Mac collided on the first turn checking Motown Mac.  Slick Assassian was checked off Milly's Choice on the first turn checking Big Skeeta.  Milly's Choice raced wide in the home straight.  Slick Assassian and Big Skeeta collided approaching the winning post.

Media Street, Dr. Luvdisc and Born Molly were slow to begin.  Explosive Sky was checked off Rusty Mia soon after the start.  Media Street, Danger Bale, Explosive Sky and Dr. Luvdisc collided on the first turn checking Media Street and Danger Bale and severely checking Explosive Sky.  Ripsaw Ronny raced wide on the second turn and lost ground.

Another Shiner went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Dyna Zaynabi and Brindle Bay were slow to begin.  Fairy Where and Vanilla Kiss collided soon after the start.  Miss Fox and I'm So Late collided soon after the start.  Brindle Bay galloped on Vanilla Kiss approaching the first turn.  Lochinvar Rox failed to pursue the lure on the second turn checking Fairy Where.  Miss Fox and I'm So Late collided entering the back straight.  Another Shiner, Lochinvar Rox, Miss Fox and Fairy Where collided on the third turn severely checking Lochinvar Rox, Miss Fox and Fairy Where.

Kenny-Harris the representative of the greyhound Lochinvar Rox regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.  Lochinvar Rox was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured toe on both front feet, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Lochinvar Rox with failing to pursue the lure with due committment by reason of injury.  Mrs. Kennedy-Harris pleaded guilty to the charge, Lochinvar Rox was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Brady the trainer of Cailah Rose regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Cailah Rose last raced on 23/07/17.  Mr. Brady stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left front toe injury.

Dr. Colt was a late scratching at 6.04pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

It's Her Fate and Kayla Las were quick to begin.  Need A Zac was slow to begin.  Rostryca Campo faltered and lost ground approaching the first turn.  Cailah Rose and It's Her Fate collided on the first turn.  It's Her Fate was checked off Cailah Rose on the first turn.

Rostryca Campo was vettted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Special Member stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (6 lengths).  No Guarantees and Sidevalve collided on the first turn.  No Guarantees and Sidevalve collided on the second turn checking No Guarantees.  Able Bess and Special Member collided in the home straight.  Able Bess and Get The Gaff collided in the home straight.

Stewards delayed the all clear following this event to view footage of the start in relation to Special Member.  After viewing the video replay Stewards gave the all clear on the numbers 2 6 3 8.

Sir Fancy was slow to begin.  Spot Of Magic and Bambalam Tilly collided soon after the start.  Bandit Brad and Spot Of Magic collided on the first turn.  Bambalam Tilly was checked off Tricky Trey approachng the home turn.  Sir Fancy galloped on Spot Of Magic on the home turn checking Sir Fancy.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Ryan regarding the direction that the greyhound Catsford Allan be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

It's My Secret trialled over 395 metres from box 8, weight 29.3kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.60 secs, the greyhound won by a margin of 10.5 lengths.  It's My Secret was cleared.

Poppy's Way trialled over 395 metres from box 1, weight 28.0kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.60 secs, the greyhound was by a margin of 12.25 lengths.  Poppy's Way was cleared.

Satisfactory trial (blinkers on):-

Wot Price Boofa trialled over 315 metres from box 6, weight 34.2kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18.94 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1 length.  Wot Price Boofa was cleared to race in blinkers.

Golden Gloves trialled over 395 metres from box 4, weight 29.2kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.60 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 13.5 lengths.  Golden Gloves was cleared and cleared to race in blinkers.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. McMillan the trainer of Zipping Pedro regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Zipping Pedro last raced on 08/01/17.  Mr. McMillan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a fractured pelvis.  Pursuant to GAR 77A Zipping Pedro trialled over 315 metres from box 3, weight 30.8kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18.94 secs, the greyhound won by a margin of 1 length.  Zipping Pedro was cleared.

Julian the representative for Murrabit Sammy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Murrabit Sammy last raced on 04/05/17.  Mr. Julian stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel.  Pursuant to GAR 77A Murrabit Sammy trialled over 315 metres from box 8, weight 29.9kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18.94 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.25 lengths.  Murrabit Sammy was cleared.

Julian the representative for Benny Boy Magic regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Benny Boy Magic last raced on 27/03/17.  Mr. Julian stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hind toe injury.  Pursuant to GAR 77A Benny Boy Magic trialled over 315 metres from box 1, weight 32.8kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18.94 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.25 lengths.  Benny Boy Magic was not cleared.
