Steward's Report
Run Rita Run and Dr Tracey were quick to begin. Spotted Label was slow to begin. Titanium Boy and Give Away King collided soon after the start. Fess Crocket crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Dr Tracey. Titanium Boy and Allen Zero collided on the first turn, checking Titanium Boy. Run Rita Run and Dr Tracey collided approaching the second turn. Give Away King checked off Dr Tracey on the third turn. Run Rita Run and Spotted Label collided on the home turn.
Run Rita Run was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left metacarpal. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke with Mr. A. Campbell, the trainer of Run Rita Run regarding the greyhound performing below market expectations. Mr. Campbell stated that he expected a bold performance from Run Rita Run but would benefit from her first run in six weeks. Stewards noted his explanation and took no further action.
