Acting on a confirmed telephone call from Trainer Ms Debra Winter, Rooey was a late scratching at 10:17pm due to a car break-down. A ten-day stand down period was imposed, this penalty is subject to be removed upon proof of break down.
Rock It Ronny and Running Yards were slow to begin.
Major Nippa and Oliver Cruise collided soon after the start, checking Major Nippa, Oliver Cruise and Dontron. Oliver Cruise crossed to the outside at the 300m mark. Rock It Ronny and Running Yards collided at the 150m mark and again at the 50m mark.
