Steward's Report

Mr. D. Fisher, trainer of Noosa Jet declared a new weight of 32.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Noosa Jet last raced at 31.1kgs.

Ikon Parker was quick to begin.  Orleans was slow to begin.  Peter Yap and Rusty Towbar collided approaching the first turn.  Tronic Flash lot ground on the first turn.  Ikon Parker and Oozing Mojo collided on the first turn.  Orleans and Noosa Jet collided on the first turn checking Noosa Jet which contacted the running rail as a result.

Noosa Jet was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its thoraco-lumbar region.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Tronic Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left wrist.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
