Steward's Report
Daisy Me Rollin' was slow to begin. Moon Prince and Base Camp collided approaching the first turn. Prue Lace and Bro's Little Gem collided on the first turn. Moon Prince, Base Camp and Ninety Proof collided on the first turn. Moon Prince galloped on the heels of Prue Lace approaching the home turn checking Base Camp and Moon Prince. Daisy Me Rollin' and Prue Lace collided in the home straight. Bro's Little Gem eased approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Dapiran, the representative of the greyhound Bro's Little Gem regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Bro's Little Gem was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left trapezius muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the Stewards charged Bro's Little Gem with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Dapiran pleaded guilty to the charge. Bro's Little Gem was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
