Pink Lipstick crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Pink Lipstick and severely checking Dyna Cadet.  Go Freddy Go and Alpanda collided on the first turn checking Alpanda.  Go Freddy Go and Oriental Tarj collided on the home turn.  Pink Lipstick, Alpanda and Goldie's Nugget collided on the home turn.  Dyna Cadet clipped the heels of Goldie's Nugget entering the home straight.  Alpanda and Pink Lipstick collided entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bluey Can Fly.

Bluey Can Fly, Dr. Sparkles and Dyna Nancy were quick to begin.  Black Shirley was slow to begin.  Ballistic Gem and News Print collided soon after the start.  Ballistic Gem, Dr. Sparkles and Dyna Nancy collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Sparkles, Dr. Noely and News print.  News Print and Dr. Noely collided approaching the first turn.  Black Shirley, Ballistic Gem and Dyna Nancy collided on the first turn checking Ballistic Gem, Dyna Nancy and severely checking Black Shirley.  Bluey Can Fly and Wanneroo collided approaching the home turn checking Bluey Can Fly and severely checking Wanneroo which stumbled and lost ground, subsequently checking Dyna Nancy.  Bluey Can Fly and Black Shirley collided approaching the winning post.

Wanneroo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left stopper, 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Totally Bullish.

Liberty Sage was quick to begin.  Magic Flora and Totally Bullish were slow to begin.

Dyna Maple and Hope collided soon after the start.  Flashing Oaks checked off Galloping Micky on the first turn checking Proving Ground.  Galloping Micky eased and raced wide approaching the home turn severely checking Liberty Sage.  Flashing Oaks and Magic Flora collided approaching the home turn checking Flashing Oaks and Proving Ground, Magic Flora fell as a result.  Proving Ground raced wide approaching the home turn. 

Magic Flora was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hope was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr G. Sneyders, the representative of Hope regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.

Galloping Micky was vetted and re-vetted following event 5.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Conway, the trainer of the greyhound Galloping Micky regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Galloping Micky with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Conway pleaded guilty to the charge, Galloping Micky was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Paua Te Kuri was quick to begin.  Iona Cape, Overruled and Jaggered Nikki were slow to begin.

Sapphire Hawke and Why Not Lyn collided soon after the start.  Aston Lola checked off Grey Magic on the first turn.  Jaggered Nikki crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Overruled and Iona Cape.  Sapphire Hawke and Grey Magic collided approaching the home turn.  Iona Cape and Overruled collided several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds, Iona Cape lost ground.  Aston Lola and Jaggered Nikki collided entering the home straight.  Sapphire Hawke and Grey Magic collided entering the home straight. 

Iona Cape was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right carpal sprain and left toe rupture, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Overruled was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Cambo's Cindy was a late scratching at  4.41pm on 22nd November 2017, due to an injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Serious Secret.

Parie Shiraz was slow to begin.

Serious Secret and Slick Assassian collided soon after the start checking Slick Assassian.  Renaldo checked off Serious Secret on the first turn.  Dr. Paulina and Serious Secret collided entering the home straight checking Serious Secret.  

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Five Lights and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11:27am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr G. McMillan was fined the sum of $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ends Well.

Stately Kay was quick to begin.

Stately Kay, Canya Rousey and Queen Dunroaming collided on the first turn.  Blue Not Black eased and failed to pursue the lure colliding with Queen Dunroaming entering the home straight.  Ends Well and Queen Dunroaming collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Hall, the trainer of the greyhound Blue Not Black regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  Blue Not Black was vetted and or re-vetted following the event 9.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to left calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Blue Not Black with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs Hall pleaded not guilty to the charge, Blue Not Black was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Straitline Willy was a late scratching at 4.43pm on 22nd November 2017, due to an injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

This event was delayed by approx. 1.10mins due to a race at Horsham Harness.

Agent Barry tailed off and took no competitive throughout the event.

Agent Barry was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Prestina Lad and Zulu Zoe collided approaching the first turn checking Pristina Lad.  Gestalt Allen and Spring Ace collided on the first turn checking Gestalt Allen.  Gestalt Allen and Resplando collided on the home turn.

Hello Nimble was slow to begin.

Jetmag Storm, No Guarantees, Marvellous Midge and Lonesome Katie collided approaching the first turn checking No Guarantees and Marvellous Midge.  Jetmag Storm and Marvellous Midge raced wide entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Howell, the Trainer of Ballistic Beauty regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ballistic Beauty last raced on 13th June 2017. Mr Howell stated that the greyhound was returning from a right back muscle injury, Mr Howell also declared a new weight of 27.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Ballistic Beauty last raced at 28.8kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Two Toes Tony.

Two Toes Tony was a late scratching at 3.39pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a left hock injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
