Steward's Report
Silver Wood was slow to begin. Canino, Become The Fuse and Oaklands collided soon after the start. Silver Wood and Acquainted collided soon after the start. Shezza's Nitro and Become The Fuse collided at the 300m mark, severely checking Shezza's Nitro which fell and tailed off. Silver Wood and Acquainted collided approaching the 200m mark and again approaching the 150m mark, checking both greyhounds. Become The Fuse and Silver Wood collided approaching the winning post, checking Become The Fuse.
Shezza's Nitro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right hindleg pencil/whip and triangle injuries, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
