Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Knuckle Biter, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Why Not Lola was quick to begin. All You Got and Apricot Candy were slow to begin. Hot Tip and Wise Stella collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Wise Stella, All You Got and Knuckle Biter collided on the first turn, checking Knuckle Biter which raced wide. Hot Tip and Wise Stella collided on the first turn, checking Wise Stella. Wise Stella and All You Got collided on the second turn, checking Wise Stella. Apricot Candy checked off Wise Stella on the second turn. Wise Stella marred All You Got on the home turn. Knuckle Biter veered out and marred Wise Stella in the home straight.
Wise Stella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
All You Got was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Britton, the trainer of the greyhound Wise Stella regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Wise Stella with marring. Mr. Britton pleaded guilty to the charge, Wise Stella was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Orr, the trainer of the greyhound Knuckle Biter regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Knuckle Biter with marring. Mr. Orr pleaded guilty to the charge, Knuckle Biter was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. C. Cortese regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound All You Got. Stewards reminded Mrs. Cortese of her responsibilities on this occasion.
