Desperado Boy and Bourbon An Kahn collided soon after the start. Away We Go, Mickey Rawson and Wicked Pedro collided soon after the start. Blackpool Alexis and Bourbon An Kahn collided approaching the first turn. Tallinn Power, Storm Search, Mickey Rawson, Desperado Boy and Bourbon An Kahn collided on the first turn checking Desperado Boy. Storm Search checked off Mickey Rawson approaching the home turn. Wicked Pedro, Away We Go and Mickey Rawson collided on the home turn.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Beer On Tap trialled over the 425mts from box 1, weight 28.7kg, the greyhound was placed 1 in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.85, the greyhound by a margin of 0.25L. Beer On Tap was Cleared To Race In Blinkers.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr.P. McColl, the trainer of Spa Wortortle regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Spa Wortortle last raced on 1st January 2017. Mr. McColl stated that the greyhound was returning from a right hip injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Spa Wortortle trialled over the 425mts from box 6, weight 32.8kg, the greyhound failed to finish and was not cleared.
Spa Wortortle was vetted following the trial and it was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Sweet Ambush trialled over the 425m from box 8, weight 27.4kg, the greyhound was placed 2 in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 24.85, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.25L. Sweet Ambush was cleared.
