Steward's Report
This meeting was declared hot weather affected. At the close of kennelling the outside temperature was 31.3 degrees and the kennel temperature was 19.7 degrees.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to a delay at Balaclava gallops.
An out of competition sample was taken from Bombora Rocket engaged in this event on 20th November 2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Golden Spell and Fairly Legal were quick to begin.
Izzy Kymtony was slow to begin.
Fairly Legal, Graphite County and Ryben Jack collided soon after the start checking Graphite County. Dashing Dyson galloped on the heels of Graphite County on the first turn checking Graphite County. Dashing Dyson and Izzy Kymtony collided on the second turn and again on the home turn. Dashing Dyson and Graphite County collided on the home turn.
Izzy Kymtony was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Golden Spell, winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Tolson regarding his conduct and opened and adjourned an inquiry to a date to be fixed.
