Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Kingsley Boy.
Ernie's Legacy, Kingsley Boy and Gotcha Mate were slow to begin. Cool Boots, Ernie's Legacy and Kingsley Boy collided approaching the first turn. Ernie's Legacy and Kingsley Boy collided on the home turn. Cosmic Fox, Gotcha Mate and Lunar Shadow raced wide in the home straight.
Gotcha Mate was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke Mr. G. Couldridge the handler of Kingsley Boy and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing pursuant to GAR 46.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Ferguson the trainer of Cosmic Fox and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his failure to engage a catcher in this event pursuant to GAR 48.
