Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Richer the trainer of Ridgy Boy and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing pursuant to GAR 46.

Manila Bala was quick to begin.  Our Karzon and Challis Sprite were slow to begin.  Love To Dream was checked off Manila Bala soon after the start.  Our Karzon and Joanie's Johnny collided on the first turn.  Joanie's Johnny galloped on Our Karzon on the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds, Our Karzon tailed off as a result.

Our Karzon was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left hock, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Knocker the representative for the greyhound Aston Danger regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Aston Danger last raced on 05/06/17.  Mr. Knocker stated the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hock injury.

Rosacky Thunder and Go Go Guru were slow to begin.  Go Go Guru was checked off Bank Rogue soon after the start.  Wild Angel galloped on Rosacky Thunder on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Wild Angel was checked off Go Go Guru entering the home straight.  Rosacky Thunder and Bank Rogue collided in the home straight.  Rosacky Thunder and Go Go Guru collided in the home straight.  Rosacky Thunder tired over the concuding stages of the event.
