Allen Varmint was a late scratching at 1:20PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to pyrexia. A three-day stand down period was imposed.
Clovally Mansumi and Piccolo Panther collided soon after the start. Vanderville, Meehan Rosie, Piccolo Panther and Clovally Mansumi collided approaching the first turn, checking Clovally Mansumi and Meehan Rosie. Vanderville and Iceni Menace collided on the first turn and again on the home turn. Belron Gus and It's My Time collided entering the home straight. Vanderville and Iceni Menace collided entering the home straight. Vanderville and Iceni Menace collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Piccolo Panther, Balron Gus and It's My Time collided approaching the winning post.
