Linco Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hock. A stand down period of 90 days was imposed.

A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.  Steward spoke to Trainer's Representative, Ms L Cookson rearding the contacts with Chief Mingo entering, and early, in the home straight.  No further action was taken.

Yenderra Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind foot. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Meeting Comments:-

Satisfactory Trial Results - Stewards spoke to Mr.S. Stefanos, the trainer of Big Papa regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Big Papa last raced on 7th December 2016. Mr. Stefanos stated that the greyhound was returning from injuries to both sesamoids.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Big Papa trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 38.4kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.47, the greyhound  was beaten by a margin of 7L. Big Papa was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Lamb, the trainer of Switch Girl regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Switch Girl last raced on 27th January 2017. Mr. Lamb stated that the greyhound was returning from being seasonal and a toenail injury.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Switch Girl trialled over the 390mts from box 3, weight 27.1kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.47, the greyhound  was beaten by a margin of 5.25L. Switch Girl was cleared.
