Empress Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Peggy Hook and Run Rita Run were quick to begin.  Blackjack Neo was slow to begin.  Straitline Willy, Trumpeter and Nicky Neo collided soon after the start.  Straitline Willy and Trumpeter collided approaching the first turn.  Nicky Neo was checked off Hello Bomber approaching the first turn.  Nicky Neo and Blackjack Neo collided on the first turn checking Nicky Neo.  Straitline Willy was checked off Run Rita Run approaching the second turn causing Straitline Willy to collided with Hello Bomber.  Trumpeter faltered on the second turn and lost considerable ground.  Blackjack Neo crossed out on the third turn and collided with Straitline Willy checking Hello Bomber.  Blackjack Neo failed to pursue the lure on the third turn and collided several times with Straitline Willy causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Nicky Neo crossed out on the third turn.  Straitline Willy and Blackjack Neo collided several times approaching the home turn.  Straitline Willy and Nicky Neo collided in the home straight.

Trumpeter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injured right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Nicky Neo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Neocleous the trainer of Nicky Neo regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the third turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Neocleous the trainer of the greyhound Blackjack Neo regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the third turn.  Blackjack Neo was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 4, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) the Stewards charged Blackjack Neo with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mr. Neocleous pleaded not guilty to the charge, Blackjack Neo was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mo Dragon, Marvellous Midge and Top Shot Jack were slow to begin.  Mo Dragon and Marvellous Midge collided soon after the start.  Marvellous Midge and Top Shot Jack collided approaching the first turn.  Bella Ha Ha and Mo Dragon collided approaching the second turn checking Mo Dragon and severely checking Bella Ha Ha.  Top Shot Jack was checked off Ruby's Image approaching the second turn.  Ruby's Image was checked off Lottie Biscotti on the home turn checking Lottie Biscotti.  Wild Sarah and Lady Bullseye collided approaching the winning post.

Following the event Wild Sarah collapsed in the catching pen and suffered a fit.  As a result the greyhound was vetted, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Holmes the trainer of Wild Sarah and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Wild Sarah must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cashino.

Cashino and Miss Taryn were slow to begin.  Paua Hiking and Black Eclipse collided soon after the start checking Cashino.  Taabinga Flash was checked off Akina Dee Jay on the first turn causing Taabinga Flash to gallop on Akina Dee Jay.  Miss Taryn was checked off Black Eclipse on the first turn checking Taabinga Flash and Akina Dee Jay; Miss Taryn collided with Slick Maggie as a result severley checking Miss Taryn and Akina Dee Jay; both greyhounds raced wide as a result.

A pre-race sample was taken from Fancy Minter.

Share and Sly Shiraz collided soon after the start.  Coalville Tiger was checked off Sly Shiraz on the first turn checking Fancy Minter and Share.  Coalville Tiger and Empress Lu collided on the first turn.  Share and Coalville Tiger collided in the front straight.  Dr. Leonardo was checked off Coalville Tiger entering the back straight checking Empress Lu.

Gestalt Allen crossed in soon after the start checking Zippy Lynet.  Labuan Starfish and Astrology collided approaching the first turn.  Labuan Starfish, Astrology and Zippy Lynet collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Gestalt Allen and Apollo's Twin collided approaching the second turn.  Labuan Starfish, Astrology and Apollo's Twin collided on the third turn checking Astrology and Apollo's Twin.

Cairo Calling, Federal Agent and Dr. Harlee collided soon after the start.  Henry, Dash Of Rose, Whodat Magic and Dr. Harlee collided on the first turn checking Dash Of Rose, Whodat Magic, Dr. Harlee and Federal Agent.  Henry was checked off Empire Entourage on the first turn.  Henry and Dr. Harlee collided in the front straight.  She's A Collinda and Empire Entourage collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn.  She's A Collinda and Empire Entourage collided entering the back straight checking She's A Collinda.

Landon, Aston Grace and Walk Woody Walk collided on the first turn checking Bro Sam's Hook and Galloping Fantom and severely checking Walk Woody Walk.  Walk Woody Walk and Bro Sam's Hook collided approaching the second turn.  Landon was checked off Galloping Fantom on the second turn.

Conclusive and Showin' Attitude were quick to begin.  Audacious Bell was slow to begin.  Corleone was checked off Conclusive on the first turn checking Audacious Mickan, Tubark and Audacious Bell.  Conclusive and Showin' Attitude collided entering the back straight checking Conclusive.  Corleone, Two Toes Tony and Tubark collided in the back straight checking Corleone and Two Toes Tony.  Audacious Bell was checked off Audacious Mickan on the second turn.  Corleone and Two Toes Tony collided on the second turn severely checking Corleone.  Tubark raced wide approaching the home turn.  Conclusive and Showin' Attitude collided entering the home straight.  Two Toes Tony and Audacious Mickan collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Glen Burns regarding his difficulty in boxing Showin' Attitude.  Stewards directed that Showin' Attitude be boxed first in future events.

Crickets Dash and Aston Philou collided soon after the start checking Righto Mitch and severely checking Crickets Dash.  Tambo Flash was checked off Sunset Senorita on the first turn.  Tambo Flash and Aston Philou collided in the back straight checking Tambo Flash.  Tambo Flash faltered in the back straight and subsequently tailed off.  Aston Philou was checked off Dynamo Magic approaching the home turn checking Aston Noir.

Tambo Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left achilles tendon and was humanely euthanased.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to the Veterinary Surgeon attending to an injured greyhound.

Brandeen Bayley was quick to begin.  Shanlyn George and Cigars On Ice collided approaching the first turn.  Milla Rose and Phil's In Luck collided on the first turn checking Phil's In Luck.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Williamson regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Hello Nimble.  Stewards directed that Hello Nimble be boxed first in future events.

A pre-race sample was taken from Audacious Angel.

Lakeview Miss was quick to begin.  Sunset Believer was slow to begin.  Miss Gracie crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Lakeview Miss, Blue Not Black and Flywheel Magic.  Sunset Believer crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Lakeview Miss, Flywheel Magic, Riverside Mons, Blue Not Black and Goorawin.  Riverside Mons galloped on Goorawin in the back straight checking Riverside Mons.
