A pre race sample was taken from Noonbarra Storm.
Dance And Sing and Too Far Out were quick to begin. Yolk's Boy and Over And Away were slow to begin. Aston Ginger, Mabuti Miss and Tegan Rose collided soon after the start, checking Mabuti Miss. Aston Ginger and Tegan Rose collided approaching the first turn. Too Far Out checked off Over and Away approaching the home turn. Noonbarra Storm faltered on the home turn and lost considerable ground.
Noonbarra Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
