Steward's Report
Joni Sunset and Le Doyen were quick to begin. Explosive Sky was slow to begin. Lektra Damage and Le Doyen collided entering the back straight checking Lektra Damage. Rylies Jack and Le Doyen collided in the back straight checking Rylies Jack, Le Doyen and Joni Sunset. Joni Sunset raced wide on the second turn causing Tricky Tron to race wide. Explosive Sky and Rylies Jack collided several times approaching the winning post.
Rylies Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Langley the trainer of Rylies Jack regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Mr. Langley stated that he had only had the greyhound for 3 weeks and felt the greyhound was tiriing over the concluding stages of the event causing him to shift ground and collide several times with Explosive Sky. Stewards noted Mr. Langley's explanation and took no further action.
