Steward's Report
Done One, Welshman and Aye Vee Aye were quick to begin. Badelaide Road, Go Renee Go and Cool Al were slow to begin. Klondike Gold was very slow to begin (4L). God Renee Go and Cool Al collided on the first turn checking Go Renee Go. Cool Al and Beljay Lilac collided on the first turn and again entering the back straight checking Cool Al. Beljay Lilac contacted the running rail on the second turn. Beljay Lilac checked off Cool Al in the home straight. Go Renee Go raced wide in the home straight.
Go Renee Go was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the groin muscle. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. P. Patterson, the trainer of the greyhound Go Renee Go. Stewards deemed the performance of Go Renee Go unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Go Renee Go must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
