Bugler checked off Why Not Archie approaching the first turn.  Mepunga Debbie and Bugler collided approaching the home turn, checking Bugler, which eased and pulled up. Sneak Preview and Why Not Archie collided approaching the winning post.

Samples were taken from the placegetters  -

Crymelon Idol (1st) and Ark Lightning (2nd).

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Sinnott, the trainer of the greyhound Bugler regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Bugler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
