Aston Viva was quick to begin. Ace Gone Wild was slow to begin.
Fear Fire and Roller Bale collided soon after the start checking Fear Fire. Roller Bale crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Secretary Bird and Spring Saviour. Fear Fire crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Secretary Bird.
Secretary Bird was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hip injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
