Steward's Report
Affair Of State and Riverdale Cocky were slow to begin.
He's Supreme and Cash Money collided soon after the start. Trav's Delight and Affair Of State collided at the 300m mark, severely checking both greyhounds. Trav's Delight checked off the heels of Affair Of State at the 250m mark. He's Supreme and Sold Short collided approaching the 200m mark and as a result, Sold Short checked off He's Supreme and collided with Cash Money, checking both greyhounds.
Baby Houseman was vetted following the event after escaping from the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
Trav's Delight was to be vetted following the event on the Stewards' request however trainer Mr Garry Harding left the course with the greyhound without reporting to the Club veterinary surgeon. Trav's Delight has been stood down from racing until a veterinary certificate is received by GRV.
Affair Of State was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the sacro-iliac and right gastrocnemius (calf) muscle. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
