Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Brent Merton, the trainer of Premier Back, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Premier Back last raced on 17 March 2017 and is returning after a spell. Mr Merton also declared a new weight of 30.3 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Premier Back last raced at 28.7 kgs.
Riverside Johnny and Batik Print were slow to begin. Batik Print and Heartstring collided at the 100m mark.
Sweet Shiraz was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
