Jayco Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Evidence and Brazen Bomber collided soon after the start.  Cardiology and Burn One Down collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Gunmetal Rebel and Esparza collided approaching the home turn.  Burn One Down and Cardiology collided approaching the home turn.  Dewana Result and Cardiology collided on the home turn.  Gunmetal Rebel and Esparza collided entering the home straight.  Brazen Bomber raced wide entering the front straight.

Diva's Shadow was quick to begin.  Fantastic Tail and Lithgow Panther were slow to begin.

Fantastic Tail checked off Lithgow Panther on the first turn.  Hession Boots and Dublin Bull collided on the first turn checking Hession Boots which lost ground.  Hession Boots raced wide entering the front straight.  Diva's Shadow and Lithgow Panther collided on the fifth turn.  Lithgow Panther and Dewana Babe collided on the home turn.  Dewnan Babe checked off Fantastic Tail entering the home straight.  Diva's Shadow and Fantastic Tail collided approaching the winning post.

Hession Boots was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dark Obsession crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Alpha David and Daphne's Party collided on the second the turn.  Alpha David and Dr. Leonardo collided on the third turn.  Daphne's Party checked off Lofty Ambition on the third turn.  Alpha David and Jaimandy Hatty collided on the home turn.  Daphne's Party and Dark Obsession collided on the home turn.

Nymeria was slow to begin.

Mepunga Fame and Cash In Motion collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Skate Thin Ice, Mepunga Fame and Cash In Motion collided on the first turn.  Skate Thin Ice and Mepunga Fame collided on the second turn.  Cash In Motion and Star Torana collided on the third turn.  Nymeria marred the running of Shared Equity approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Nymeria was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left metatarsal abrasion, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Ennis, the handler of the greyhound Nymeria regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Nymeria with marring. Mr. J Ennis pleaded guilty to the charge, Nymeria was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
