Luka's Choice was very slow to begin (4L). Matchstick Girl was slow to begin.
Miller's Court and Pitil Grange collided soon after the start. Pitil Grange and Magic Muzza collided at the 300m mark.
Pitil Grange and Matchstick Girl collided at the 250m mark. Time To Launch eased at the 250m mark and collided with Pitil Grange and Matchstick Girl. Time To Launch eased at the 200m mark. Pitil Grange and Time To Launch collided at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark. Time To Launch checked off the heels of Matchstick Girl at the 100m mark, checking Time To Launch.
Pitil Grange was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sutained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms K Houlahan, the representative of the greyhound Time To Launch, regarding the greyhound's racing manners from the 250m to the 200m mark. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Time To Launch with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Houlahan pleaded guilty to the charge, Time To Launch was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for three months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Delaine Vigor, the representative of Pitil Grange regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 250m mark. Ms. Vigor stated that the greyhound has a tendancy to cross to the inside or outside sharply. Stewards accepted Ms. Vigor's explanation and took no further action.
