Steward's Report
Woodleigh Sal was quick to begin. Another Shiner and Oh Nikita were slow to begin. So Easy, Keeping Gracie, Ollie Pedro and Flash Bobbie collided soon after the start checking Ollie Pedro and severely checking Keeping Gracie which lost ground. Woodleigh Sal checked off Ice Cool Kaedyn on the first turn. Oh Nikita and Flash Bobbie collided on the home turn checking Flash Bobbie. So Easy raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Whitford and reminded him of his responsibilities in boxing his greyhound. Addition added 28/6/17, Mr. R. Whitford was also advised that his actions when boxing "So Easy" were not appropriate.
Keeping Gracie was vetted and after being re vetted following event 4, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
After viewing the footage and observing the severe check the greyhound Keeping Gracie received, Stewards took no further action.
A sample was taken from Ice Cool Kaedyn - the winner of the event.
