Steward's Report
Kennels closed approximately 8 minutes late due to the late arrival of the oncourse veterinarian.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Setford, the trainer of Lissy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lissy last raced on 17th of January 2017. Mr. stated that the greyhound was returning to race after being on season.
Ying Yang and Lucky Omar were slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start. Way Things Are and Matchstick Girl collided soon after the start. Lucky Omar checked off Lissy approaching the 250m mark and collided with Who's Kaneo. My Girl Josiah and Lissy collided several times from approaching the 150m mark until the 50m mark.
Ying Yang was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
