Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. McMillan, the trainer of Zipping Todd regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Zipping Todd last raced on 23rd December, 2016. Mr. McMillan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennels and a left front toe injury.
Cheeky Cindy and Give Me Wings were slow to begin. Zipping Todd and Cheeky Cindy collided soon after the start. Zipping Todd and Five Lights collided soon after the start. Zipping Todd checked off Cheeky Cindy on the first turn and contacted the running rail severely checking Zipping Todd. Five Lights and Rickett's Point collided approaching the home turn checking Five Lights. Give Me Wings crossed to the outside approaching the home turn. Mrs. Jawa and Undercover Viv collided on the home turn.
Zipping Todd was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. G. McMillan, the trainer of Zipping Todd regarding the greyhound's racing manners soon after the start.
