Crackerjack Roy and Lady Juar collided soon after the start. Suave Odessa crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Bigshow Jethro, Spring Alis and Sunningdale. Bigshow Jethro, Spring Alis, Sunningdale and Where's Savannah collided on the first turn, checking Bigshow Jethro, Crackerjack Roy and Lady Juar. Crackerjack Roy and Lady Juar collided on the home turn, Lady Juar raced wide as a result. Spring Alis checked off Where's Savannah on the home turn. Brace For Impact raced wide in the home straight.
