A pre-race sample was taken from Maximum Moo.
Senni Socks, Murrabit Betty and Maximum Moo were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Senni Socks and Murrabit Betty. Crackerjack Cam checked off Spring Kitty approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Cam checked off In Dee Genes on the first turn, checking One Mississippi. Crackerjack Cam and Senni Socks raced wide and collided approaching the home turn, and again on the home turn. In Dee Genes and Amlin's Magic collided on the home turn, checking Amlin's Magic. One Mississippi checked off Murrabit Betty on the home turn. In Dee Genes, Maximum Moo and Senni Socks raced wide in the home straight.
Crackerjack Cam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left wrist, and injuries to the left hamstring and left back muscle. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
