Sidevalve and Avatar Tessy were slow to begin.
Slow To Burn and Like A Bailey collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Skidlisha checked off Bush Princess approaching the first turn. Slow To Burn and Like A Bailey collided on the first turn, checking Slow To Burn which contacted the running rail and lost ground as a result. Skidlisha and Sidevalve collided approaching the home turn, checking Skidlisha. Skidlisha and Like A Bailey collided on the home turn, checking Skidlisha and Avatar Tessy. Callaway raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Sidevalve checked off Bush Princess approaching the winning post.
Slow To Burn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
