Steward's Report
Lyley Lass and Aminya Shadow collided soon after the start. Riverside Kim, Moody Ruby and Smiley Bynes collided in the back straight checking all three greyhounds. Vanilla Kiss and Aminya Shadow collided approaching the home turn. Smiley Bynes eased in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Ms. T. Kennedy-Harris the trainer of the greyhound Smiley Bynes regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Smiley Bynes was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to a toe on the left hind foot, no stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Smiley Bynes with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Ms. Kennedy-Harris pleaded guilty to the charge, Smiley Bynes was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination was accepted.
